SCHE participates in “Politico 2017 Inter College Fest Department of Political Science Tetso College”

Vice-Principal Fr. Gyan Sandeep Kujur, HOD of Political Science Dominic Khanyo, Asst. Prof Lomi Sema and 8 students of Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE) partook in the Politico 2017 Inter College Fest Department of Political Science Tetso College at the auditorium and 3T arena on 11th Feb. 2017.
Two students of SCHE presented papers. Sunil Bara presented a paper on: “The Problem of Evil and Suffering in Christianity while John Donbok presented a paper on “Women empowerment: An Indian contextual view.” Asst. Professor Dominic Khanyo HOD of Political Science was the Moderator for the debate competition.

Earlier, the programme began with the invocation by Lituna Chishi, B.A. 2nd Sem. The welcome address was delivered by Shitio Shitiri HOD of Political Science. A special no was presented by Ramtsula, B.A. 6th Sem.
There were three sessions in all namely, i) Cultural and Religion, ii) Nagaland and Economy and iii) Women and Society. Other events of the day included: Quiz and debate on the theme: “Should Churches play a role in Politics?” Closing ceremony saw to the result declaration, vote of thanks by Dr. Salikyu Sangtam, Asst Professor Dept of Political Science, Tetso Colllege and Benediction was by Daniel Michael Khan, Asst Professor Dept of Political Sciencce, Tetso College. There were 250 students from 12 colleges present for the occasion.
