The Salesian College of Higher Education honored the nationwide celebration of the ‘Teachers’ Day’ in the college auditorium. The function started at 9:45 am with the welcoming of the teachers. Varieties of items such as songs, audio-visual presentation, dance, speeches and giving of gifts marked the event. Fr. Sabu Joseph, the Principal of the College congratulated and thanked the teachers for their hard work. The student’s forum, representing all the students, also thanked and acknowledged the wonderful deeds of the teachers. In return, “The best gift a student can give to a teacher is by doing well in the studies and becoming a successful person in life,” said Madam Talisangla in her speech representing all the teachers. The function concluded with a grand photo session with all the teachers and students followed by the refreshment and a friendly football match between the teachers and students.
