Salesian College of Higher Education (SCHE) concluded a week-long College Week with Fr. Dr. CP Anto, Founder-Principal of North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) as Chief Guest and Sr. Emelda Kerketta, superior of LFS as Guest of Honour, on 18th Nov. 2017.

Fr. Anto, the recipient of the Rotary National Peace Award, presenting Don Bosco and Steve Jobs as models, exhorted the students to excel and bring quality in all their endeavours. He underscored the significance of having a dream of what one wants to become after a decade and start working towards it. Earlier, Fr. Dr. Policarp Xalxo, Principal of SCHE, welcomed the guests and the gathering. He congratulated the College Week Committee for their efficient organization and thanked the students for taking active participation in the events.

With the official inauguration on 13th Nov. 2017, the College Week was packed with various stage events, indoor and outdoor games.  The overall champion of College Week 2017 was bagged by Red House, while Green House emerged as 1st Runners up, Blue House as 2nd Runners up and Yellow House as 3rd Runners up. Individual prices were handed over by the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Principal of SCHE. The vote of thanks was proposed by Daniel Jangpuiphun 6th Semester student. The day ended with light refreshment for all.
