On Saturday, 16 February 2019, Salesian College of Higher Education organized a ‘Blood Donation Camp in the Campus in collaboration with The Blood Bank District Hospital, Dimapur, Nagaland. Dr. Tensu, the Chief Medical officer, of the District Hospital, Dimapur, Dr Tetsio and other dignitaries were present for the camp. The programme began at 9.30 am at the auditorium, the President of Red Ribbon Club welcomed and introduce the occasion Dr. Tensu conscientized the students on “Blood Donation” and motivated them to step forward and join the campaign and become a ‘Blood Donor’. 80 students including the teaching staff volunteered forward to donate blood. Salesian College organises Blood Donation Camp every year.
