Bosco B.Ed College has officially declared its Sports week open on 28th February 2017.The Chief Guest for the occasion was Rev. Fr. Dr. Policarp Xalxo sdb, the Principal of Salesian College of Higher Education, Dimapur. The Bosco B.Ed College, Kuda village shares the same campus with the Salesian College of Higher Education. Infact, it can be called Sister-in-arms with the latter. The students were colourfully divided according their houses: Blue, Green, Red and Yellow.
In his message, Fr Policarp encouraged the extra-curricular activity of the college as being beneficial to students’ life. He underscored this occasion which brought to the fore the latent talents hidden in the individual. He further stressed that it served the multi-capacity building in a student. He concluded his talk encouraging everyone to participate well with the true sportsperson’s spirit.
Earlier, Fr. T.C. Joseph, the principal read out the oath of a sportsman to the students which they repeated with the stretching out of their right hand in the sight of the staff and the students. The staff and the team of volunteers is leaving no stone unturned to bring effectiveness, learning and success in to the sports week.
Bro. Dominic Eddie Ralte and Bro. Daisinlung Sebastian Kamsuan of SCHE extended their help in refereeing the matches for three days sports competitions. The two institutions namely, SCHE and B.Ed extend help and support to one another and will continue to do so.
